What are your favorite Photoshop action sets? I am aware of Alien Skin and Totally Rad, but are there other good ones? Are there add ons that assist with better selections (hair, etc.) Any thoughts appreciated.

Haven't heard of those, maybe I'll check 'em out. Have you tried Chip Springer's Portrait actions? I like his SkinFix action. I'd be interested to hear how it compares to Alien Skin.
I don't know if they're what you would call "the best" actions, but they're free...and I like free! And if you have no use for them after you try them...then you're not out any loot...I've used the Pioneer Woman's actions and sometimes I get interesting results with them.
