Some of my favorties from my May-June '09 weddings
I don't post on here, just plain to lazy & my wedding season has been kicking my butt this year. But here are some of my favorites from this year so far. You can check out my blog, if you feel like you want to see more pics
C&c welcome
Sorry for the small photos ... the further you scroll down the bigger the pics get :wink
1)
2) Hmmm, got to love window-light ...
3)
4)
5) Kind of wish the smaller guy would have been standing somewhere else, but the limo guy was rushing me, and I had no time to really look at the whole composition. Oh well, still like the photo ...
6)
7)
8)
9) My favorite dress ... I also gave her an unwrinkled version, so ignore the bottom of the dress.
10) How do you pose a couple in front of a dinosaur. Haha ... I had no clue what to do with them for that pic. I guess, it kind of worked out (the dinosaur was huuuuge). Need to find a better pose until end of August, when I'll shoot an other couple in the same venue :scratch So if you have any cool ideas let me know
11) Just some different processing ..
12) Yup, that sums up the weather we've had so far ... :
13) ... tying the vintage look:
14) One of my favorite weddings - ever:
15) I had a couple of shoots with her, it was sooo nice to be working with somebody that was *so* comfortable posing & trying new stuff :lust
16)
17) This version is a bit soft, but here it is anyway:
18)
19) Have I mentioned how muuuch I love oldtimers?? An other vintage look:
20)
21) The groom driving to the ceremony:
22)
23) I think this is the prettiest sunset photo I've ever taken. I'm not much of a sunset kind of girl ... but might get persuaded to sneak them out more often after this pic :wink

Not only do you shoot well - love the images, you got some great material to work with from beautiful brides and great looking venues. And I want that 57 Chevy for my portfolio !
(I think I might have an old Lincoln Continental this weekend and the wedding is on a paddle wheel boat)

Thanks ChatKat. Yeah, the chevy pic went straight on my website / portfolio I as *so* lucky with all the fancy cars this year .. unbelieveable. Now I just need to figure out some fancy poses to show off / match the cars ... haha. I looooove oldies, I wish I would have had one for my own wedding But this will do it too
A paddle wheel boat wedding Wow!! That should be fun!!!
Some really good stuff in here. Bet you have tons more we have not seen.
Really nice work!!
I really like the posing and how you make your subject comfortable in front of the camera, nice use of light.
Very nice compositions and I can see a lot of thought went in to composing your photos with background subject and light.

I kept thinking, "I like that one best! No, THAT one!!" and seriously - they're all lovely. But #20 through the windscreen is just amazing - different and yet totally classic at the same time. Spectacular! thumb

Dooginfif20, yup, mostly ambient ... unless I'm in the church or at the reception. I try to stay out of the sun, which makes a lot of things easier, but of course you can't always do that Every once in a while I work with some reflectors, but I found that I usually don't have the time to set up everything the way I want it because everybody wants to go back to the party
As for the processing, it's so hard to say as every wedding / location / photo is *so* different. But in general I do a lot of color adjustments (I like the saturated, fresh look), and some nip-tuck here and there
