Sure do know...coleslaw wrestling. One of the highbrow social activities at Bike Week in Daytona (FL).

The biker chick in my photo - below - would not be an entrant, but she was photographed at The Cabbage Patch bar in Samsula, Florida. (One of a series of photos in my SmugMug "Bikers" gallery)

Look up the Cabbage Patch bar website for some action shots of coleslaw wrestling. I won't post a link here because this is a family group.

    Bingo... Tony wins...

I gotta be honest, I never thought anybody would have guessed. I figured it would get great comments tho'.

    A little background:

The prize was $500, the girls don't take it seriously and are good humored.

It draws 3,000 - 5,000 people in one day to a remote bar in farmland. The owner charges $5 to park a bike, rents a lot of vender spots. Its like a big party (& everyone behaves)

I think it's one of the best entrepreneurial moves I have every seen.

PS... That's a great shot Tony and very appropriate for the setting. 2009? I was in Daytona but didn't go the Sopotniks this time, I shot Greyhounds at the new track.
