    I like doing natural light shots if the light is right (light cloud) - you may not get so much detail captured but you do get lovely light and colour in exchange.

    Urte - focus distance of these shots varies between 3" and about 12" in front of the lenses. Most were taken with a sigma 105mm.

    Brian, these are fantastic images. Can I ask if you were using extension tubes on the 105?

    I just got a set and have been experimenting. :). If not, are some of your shots crops? I hope I'm not being to presumptious in asking :)

    These are without extension tubes but I do often use them with the 105 to take the mag upto 2:1.
