Anyone having problems with adding comments?

Starting yesterday afternoon, when some people try to add a comment either on a gallery or in the guestbook, they are getting an "error on page" at the bottom left of the screen. These people are using Internet Explorer 7.0. Some browsers must be working since a few people were able to add comments. I tried to post not only on our site, but on other sites (Andy's and others) as well and receive the same error message on all pages.

I did however compare internet explorer versions with someone and even though they were using the exact same version of IE7, the comment box opened for them both on our site and on Andy's.

This makes no sense to me since the site code would be the same for each of us.

Anyone have any ideas? I hate to have broken comments.

Thanks for any help!

    Hi Ruth,

I'm Christina and I'm a support hero here at SmugMug. I'm sorry that we didn't see this message sooner. Did you try to reach us at our helpdesk? http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal

Often problems that are user specific tend to be cache or cookies related. Would you mind trying to clear your cache?

To clear your cache in Internet Explorer 7, click on "Tools". It's in the top right corner of the browser. Then select "Internet Options". That's going to open a new window with some options. Make sure that the "General" tab is selected. Then click on "Delete..." under the Browsing History section. That will bring up another window. Locate the "Delete Files..." button and click on that.

And, if that still doesn't work could you try clearing your cookies?
