Slideshow Image cut in half on small laptop

Images in the landscape position are cut in half on a 12 inch laptop screen when clicking on the style button and choosing the gallery viewing style as slideshow. This is on a windows xp machine, across 3 browsers, Firefox, Safari and IE8. However, if I go to the share button, show off and generate a slideshow there, it's ok. If it's site specific, the only place on my site where I have enabled viewers to pick a style is Fine Art Photography>Fine Art Travel Photographs.
Clearing the browser cache doesn't help. I also see it this way if I click into the link for Andy's site; the link that is supposed to demo the new slideshow. This is what I see on a 12 inch laptop screen:

I was attempting to show my dear old mother my latest photos from an airshow I went to and we used the full screen slideshow function. Unfortunately there seems to be times when, instead of using the size appropriate one for the screen to see the entire photo, it uses the X3large one and on a 1024x768 screen half the photo is off the screen. It only seems to happen on a few photos and I don't know why.
If you start it at the C17, it starts doing it around the Snowbirds, and then it stops doing it, then behaves properly. Any ideas?
I was showing off my site to a client and found a problem on the Flash show at the home page.
When I originaly loaded my images to the showcase bin to be processed as a Flash gallery, they came in full size
whether they were horizontal or vertical, they seemed formated to fit.
I have noticed that my horizontal images are now cut in half after I load them.
Have you guys made changes to affect this or do I need to follow particular steps for this not to happen?
Please help.
I guess I'll have to make the extend the canvas to a complete square in order until you guys fix this bug.
You'll need to completely flush your cache, and to be sure, try a different url that isn't possibly cached out there on our CDN
