Fox on the run

Went out to my brother's house (he's on vacation) to check on things and let out his dog and feed a few animals.
There's always something to take a picture of out there.

I let the dog out and was shooting this old barn across from his house
Changing lenses 50,10-22,24-70 just playing around
Put on the lensbaby and thats when the fox came out of the barn
I was about 20 feet away but it didn't seem to matter

So I snapped well the 20d mirror sounds like a old screen door slamming shut :photo
The fox jumped straight up in the air and when back thru the hole in the barn door Well...I figured it was over but...nope
She came back out for another shot so I pulled the trigger again and BAM! like Emerald the cook would say:flash

Well this time my brother's dog seen what was going on and the chase was on
It took a while to catch up with them but I finally did and put the dog away
And sat down to catch my breath

Here are the two photos I snapped not very good but it happend so fast
And I had a lensbaby on :huh

I don't know what a lens baby is, have read the name, but don't know.

I love those shots, though, especially the first one. You are one lucky soul to have had a "lens baby" on, it just made the photo so special, IMO.

    Fantastic!

    Fred,

I agree with Ginger. The lensbaby effect is kewl thumb.gifthumb.gif Is this one of the older ones, or Ver 2.0? The newer one has multiple rings to drop in (allowing you to chenge apertures (F2.0-F5.6) and supposedly the center area is sharper ne_nau.gif Costs a bit more, but as your pics show, it's a fun little lens for creating shots like these clap.gif

Steve I have the old version abt $99
    Both shots were at f4
On the old version changing the apertures is not easy
They give you a little plastic stick to change f stop

Do you think the version 2.0 is that much better then the old?
For $150 it would be worth the extra cash to try.

I have been wanting to modify my lensbaby to shoot nightshots so...
If I buy the new one I can mess with the old one...even if I mess it up I still have Lensbaby.

Oh Oh I think I just talked myself into buying one eek7.gif

    Thanks Steve
    I think :D
