i like the composition a lot, and the PP is definately note-worthy...
keep it uf Veer!
when you look at the work of your favourite photographers,
what is it about those wonderfull shots that make them stand out so amazingly?
start analyze... and describe accurate what you see.
is it the light that make an ordinary subject look special or is it the camera angle?
is it where in the frame it is placed? patterns? emotions? movement? collor? energy?
trying to describe meticulous why you DONT like a shot,
or why you feel it grab your heart, is a really good way to get to your goal: "how to do it better".
and of course... take lots and lots of photos! (and break every rule)
Thank you for your comments...but i somehow miss some criticism from which I could learn something..so here another picture i personally love but want some feedback on what to look for next time
you have them in both shots, maby try to capture them in an other way?
1.
the arc-shot...
suggestion: maby try focus on eiether the arc or some real people with the arc in the bg.
as it is now, for me anyway, its only halfway there.
it could be a kissing couple with a blury triomphe in the background,
(cliché-shot maby but they tend to work)
or it could be the arc itself with a much more architectural approach in mind.
i would go back and take pictures from "every possible angle"
i would look up other shots of the arc de triomphe and see what other photographers have done.
a litle bit of research dont hurt, and i would pick a day with that mission
in my head, to day is the day i will go shoot that fucking arc and its gonna be beautiful.
2.
desertsafaritrip?
yeah i also like this picture, i can see this as one shot in a serie,
i say "in a serie" because, for me, its really not that strong/interesting alone.
you have all those people and all that sand... why not get close to it?
there must be billions of possible sand-patterns to shoot.
foots kicking up sand, hands playing with it, an empty waterbottle maby,
a couple of closeups of the people,
i dont know... go buy a skeleton and halfbury it somewhere.
if you only want to snap some shots as a memory thats fine,
but then they will never become more than just that, snaps from a trip.
i like the shot but its not giving me anything speciall, im not taken by it.
maby you are too far away or to close?
think about it yourself, people and dunes are a perfect starting point for wonderful images.
good luck with this photo thingy, and keep them coming!
im gonna put my new stuff here...
