Evening Lightning Shoot

I got the chance to get a few daytime shots yesterday evening when a small LP shower went hyper static on me. It rolls up the shutter actuations in a hurry but it can be rewarding. I shot them with my Sigma 10-20mm EX so they are very much closer than they appear. :thumb

In the first case the bolt left the clouds pretty near over my head. :bow

    Jim;

    Great captures! I've not been able to capture lightning the way you have. Do you use a lightning detector?

    Nope, I shoot a bunch in daylight if the storm is really spitting or go bulb at night.
