Smugmug Gallery Security

Hi,
I am a bit perplexed about the Smugmug security model. I am testing the service and am currently using Gallery 2 (G2) self-hosted. G2 allows nested albims and so I set a parent album up with the appropriate permissions (login required to view pictures) and then all sub-albums will automatically inherit the parent's security. Simple and easy with no need to change permissions when creating a new sub-album. Simplicity is vital not only for management, but also because my viewing audience is people with only the most basic computer skills - imagine your mother or grandmother.
If I look at Smugmug, it appears that the security model is album centric with no ability to nest albums. Thus, it is more complex to create a similar model as G2. I think the steps are as follows, but I will also need to add custom sitewide javascript to ensure that the crumbs don't display the category.
Thank you,
JL

- Apply quick setting with common password
- Add the new album to the sharegroup

We have added 'Virtual Galleries' to our features request list: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=125879
I do the same for my 'private' galleries. I use a Quick Setting to apply the same password to all the galelries so my viewrs only have to enter the password once to view all the galleries.
If you use the 'hide owner' option and add the galelries to a share group, the breadcrumbs should be hidden.
