I am little nervous - but thought I would throw my hat into the ring for MX pictures! I have a couple National events coming up so today was practice day. Cool thing was that this was an off weekend so there was ALOT of the top Pros at the track! Here are a few from the Pro practice/race.
To all you magazine guys... Open to some C&C!!
1. Kyle Keast
2. Tyler Medaglia (3) Colton Facciotti (1)
3. Kerim Fitz-Gerald (19) Kyle Keast (5)

I will give it a shot. I crop almost everything 8x10 to keep the ratio the same but i think i should be able to go tighter on these. I would have liked to be 3 steps to the left for the first one.

#1 is just ok to me, just a flat pic, maybe if you would have gotten down on the ground and shot up it would have made it more exciting.
#2 is a pretty good pic, like other said, it could be cropped a bit more, but still good.
#3 I just don't care for. The lighting is less than desirable and the background is really bad. If you are going to shoot in an area that is busy like that, then you must shoot at F/2.8 so you have a shallow depth of field and the background gets blurred out more and isn't as distracting. Keep at it though brother

Interesting point on #3 - I have been shying away from shooting 2.8 as the shots looked to static.
As mentioned, i may post some others. Keep the C&C coming!
