Ospreys on Vancouver Island

My buddy Pete and I have been watching an Osprey nest here on the Island for a few months now.
It can be pretty hit and miss and some days you can sit for hours without much action.
We got up early and were at the nest by 7:00am this weekend and were rewarded by seeing the parents put on a quite a show dropping sticks onto the nest.
Then we got a peek at their two new chicks as they stuck their heads up to look down at us.
We are very excited about watching the 2 of them grow up.
The only problem is the nest is only accessible on the weekends so we only get to see them every 5 days or so.
Hope you enjoy some of my images from Sunday.

How fortunate you are Brad to be able to photograph this even if it's only a couple of days a week.

I have to say that when you have lots of good light that cheap ole Bigma lens can capture some great shots.
I will hopefully get more of the chicks to post from my next visit on the weekend.
