Yesterday my son's team volunteered at the Mich Miracle Baseball Network. These kids are challenged in many ways, but not when it comes to having fun:

1) Being a bit wary during announcing the teams:

2) Playing left field w/o sight:

3). My son and his buddy:

4) Playing shortstop:

5) Little BOB action:

6). Any 'running the bases!:

7). Little sportrait

8) Buddies help when needed: (this is the father/son combo)

9) Another BOB!

10) Another sportrait

11). Power hitter!

12)

13) This young man used crutches all day, every day since he was able to walk. He decided 2 weeks ago, enough! He ran the bases, unaided, like a pro!

14). Young Detroit Tiger in the making:

15) And the joy of hitting!

16) Many thanks to the volunteers, bruising does occur!

17). Visually impaired and hits by synchronizing a count with the pitcher!

thx guys, these turned out to be really hard to shoot, there are 30-35 people on the field (200' fence) on every pitch! I shot mostly from the outfield over the fence....

I'm glad I got a few usable shots!

It looks like you got more than a few "usable" shots. Nice job capturing that special event and I'm sure the parents will treasure these!

Kudo's to your son's team for being buddies and you for shooting. clap.gif

Oh man...if I'd been his father and seen that, I would have been sobbing uncontrollably.

    Great shots!
