Ridicule? I can do sarcasm, but don't think I can do ridicule, .
For the seagull, it is a seagull, will let others tackle him. But the swan, that is something I have never seen before. Good catch! Or was it "good observation".
A nap? Just catching up on her/his tan?
Nice, very nice.
ginger (Do you want the yellow thing in there to set the "place" where the swan was, or was it left in the photo just because.......... I was not distracted, so busy looking at the swan, but just wondered.)

Thanks for the feedback Ginger, I watched him for a while, I do think he was asleep, the yellow bouy is in the photo because I never thought to walk left or right to get it out of the frame , remember mediocrity is my byword
The seagull shot is excellent. You got great feather detail in that shot. I like the second shot too but I wish you could lose that distracting yellow float from the shot.

I wasn't being flippant when I replied to Ginger, I am very lazy with composition, I don't plan shot properly, I should have chimped and taken the pic from a few different angles. I cropped it again but it doesn't leave a lot of room, thanks for the tips
btw I took this one of a gull later in the day showing off his tonsils

I like the cropped version better. Its always better to compose when you take the shot as opposed to composing in your post processing.

Good capture
