Site issues with both DGrin and Smugmug....is there a known problem? Both sites are sporadically just clocking when trying to access them.

Damn this is really messed up timing. I just finished a shoot today of a lady who is a tv chef for Warner Bro and was a finalist in the 1st episode of Food Networks contest and she is trying to view the shots from today!!!!! This is really, really not a good first impression!

4 times the site has had issues this month alone...
What's the deal SM SuperHeroes? I know you guys and gals bust your buts to provide terrific support but this many issues may be indicative of introduction too many changes at once perhaps? I hope this is not a continuing thing since I am trying to get my business going and clients won't wait.

Rbrogen: no, it's just a human error, it'll be sorted as fast as our engineers can do it.

Of course one of my clients is trying to log in right when the problems occurred and she sends me an email asking what's up.

Two nights in a row..... Are you guys growing too fast? Love your site, but I hope this is not going to become a regular occurrence.

It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before and it has always been due to human error.

Back up here as well. This is way most outages are if there are any--short-lived. I've only had one instance in the years that I've been with SM that really was bad for me. I've had more problems from web hosts than SM. Kudos to the SM team for a great job. clap.gif

Thanks Andy for the quick response as always. This one stings a bit more given my particular circumstances...forgive the yelling.

I just got 12k/sec when doing an "owner save" on one photo. I think this must also be the speed at which the videos are downloading. It's taking minutes for clips that are seconds long. ne_nau.gif

Sorry about your troubles. Your site comes up fine for me in Germany. Doesn't it come up at all or do photos not show while the text loads?

Did you try both, your custom domain and your SmugMug nickname LoveNLaughter ?
    How about these two links?
    1. http://cmac.smugmug.com/gallery/2504559_f3ta9
    2. http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/2504559_f3ta9

Does any one of them work?

Could you run a traceroute to www.smugmug.com and cmac.smugmug.com ?
Try these instructions to run a traceroute on a PC:
    http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/2959046
That will help us see if and where any problems may be.

You can best email us the results at our helpdesk. Be sure to link back to this post so that we can keep them connected.

    Thanks,
