It's worth it. Spent the afternoon at a gorgeous park, came out with hardly anything. My three year old purposely does not look at me anymore when the camera is in my hand.:cry

I'm a sucker for little girls and flowers!

C&C welcome :)

Precious little girl you have there. Nice capture of her as well. Little soft but with the B & W conversion it works well.

    Thanks for the comments :)

The softness was intentional, I liked it for some reason but I may have overdone it. I'm looking at it today though and I think the crop is bothering me. I don't know...maybe i'll play with it some more.

You've got a beautiful girl, and that's a wonderful pose.

The crop is bothering you because of the way her fingers are cut off. Just open that side up a bit more and you should be fine. Also, it's hard to say without knowing the framing out of camera, but I'd try to keep her nose between her eyes on the thirds with the crop.

thank you whiteagle! I'm not sure if it's the fingers so much, which by the way they aren't in the original shot..

thought i'd try a square crop, and i think i like it! I might send this one to the printers tonight :)
