A fellow dgrinner jogged my memory about these forgotten photos, and I would love to share them with you guys/girls.
They were taken with a little Canon S80 point and shoot, but the quality is still good. So for all you people out there still saving for a DSLR, don't stop shooting...it's not the camera that makes the shot great.
This was a February snow hike to Dewey Point. I don't recall the exact mileage, but it was decent. A friend and I created an igloo(maybe a bit to close the edge), and the rest of the hike group tented it. Some pretty cool scenery...hope you enjoy!

Excerpt from hike journal:
"We left the trailhead about 10PM, arriving at Dewey Point around 1AM. The snow hike featured substantial side-hills, and challenging elevation gains. After building the igloo and setting up camp, we went to sleep at roughly 3AM. After taking in the dramatic view of snow-draped Yosemite Valley we hike backed, arriving at the Badger Pass trailhead a little past noon."
