I need to hire you to title all my photos, what are your rates? :D

    Great shot!

rolleyes1.gif Thanks, Ron! Rates are very cheap. Just take me along on some of your photographic excursions, and we'll call it even. :D

I fear that Seqouia may be too far in land for misty morning goodness, but perhaps the elevation will help. Either way, it's my first time there and I'm sure I'll never want to leave!

Sorry to hijack, but having read up on both of these amazing kinds of trees, not much mist to be found around the Sequoias. The reason why the redwoods are unique are because they only grow in the "fog belt" around the coast from NoCal and farther into Oregon.

Redwoods are no less impressive though as shown here. :D

Very nice work! Last summer I was able to spend a whole three hours in the Redwoods but wasn't fortunate enough to get some fog. I'm glad to see you got some good conditions.

Thanks, Danny! 3 whole hours? Wow! rolleyes1.gif You have to go back. I want to go back next summer when the Rhodies are at full bloom.

I ended up going to Baker/Shuksan instead, Artist Point is already open! My oncall (not nearly as serious as yours - but it affects my travel ability just as much) doesn't start until Monday, so I need to take advantage of these next few days as much as possible. Someday our schedules will align, if it works out, I may even let you try Danny's tripod out since it's still in my trunk from last week :D

We PNWerners should set up a Google calendar or something and try to coordinate some shooting get-togethers. What do you think? :D

Thanks, Marcy! I had the same thought...scarry but still pleasing at the same time. I'm glad to know we agree. :D
