I'm totally new to doing stuido-type photography, but I tried to take some 6 month picures of my daughter last weekend from my garage. Not quite a "studio" set up, but it works for me. :D Anyways, just thought I'd share one from the set. CC always welcome.

Hi ride16. Nice shot. Very cute expression!

If it were me, I'd crop in tightly so she fills the frame. There's too much empty space on either side of her for my tastes.

You did a great job for being new at it!

Thanks guys! Is this any better, or too tight of a crop now?

It's a little tight in my opinion, especially if you're going to frame it.

Also, the background isn't quite gone all around her. Use the dodge tool and set it to highlights. That's the quickest way to blow it out completely.

    Other than that, great image!

Yup - this is a wall hanger, but the second crop is too tight for that - there's not enough left for the matting and frame - you'll loose the top of her head eek7.gif

Other than the minor already suggested changes...this is a money maker.

    Thanks for sharing. thumb.gif
