A picture of Joss
I'm totally new to doing stuido-type photography, but I tried to take some 6 month picures of my daughter last weekend from my garage. Not quite a "studio" set up, but it works for me. Anyways, just thought I'd share one from the set. CC always welcome.

If it were me, I'd crop in tightly so she fills the frame. There's too much empty space on either side of her for my tastes.
You did a great job for being new at it!

Also, the background isn't quite gone all around her. Use the dodge tool and set it to highlights. That's the quickest way to blow it out completely.
Other than that, great image!
