    Hi Dani,
I see the faces on the two bottom ones. I also see you are having too much fun with your new gear:D. Looks like you've taken right to it, nice shot and deep, well saturated colorsthumb.gif.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

Well that's a first for me- first time I've ever seen a flower that is so ugly.
    Great shot BTW.

De-lurking because I love these plants! They're called Cuphea, and there are all kinds of nifty hybrids. I used to collect them, and probably will again if I ever have time to re-do the garden on my front patio.

These are early efforts and probably not the snazziest photos with which to de-lurk, but oh well! Let's see if I can get this posting photos thing correct on the first shot...

I like this little side view. It looks so evil!

    Cuphea, hybrid "Moth"

    Cuphea, hybrid "Firefly"

    Cuphea, hybrid "Firecracker"

So...um...howdy! Nice to meet you all. wave.gif

    Dani,
Ugly flowers are good. Everyone posts lovely flowers, so these are somewhat unique thumb.gifthumb They really do look like bat faces eek7.gif
