Putting down some roots

This was taken at the local zoo. I really like the colours in the first one, but the B&W seems to have the little something as well (as they usually do).

    They're both great. The B&W has a spooky quality to it.

    The color version makes it looks like it something other than a tree -- perhaps a serpent. The texture of the bark really stands out in the color version.

    I definitely like the color version!!! It shows the depth, the color variations and the oddity of the tree. It looks like tentacles from a sea creature or the alien in 'Alien'! thumb.gif
