    Hi Jerry, the shot appears to have been over sharpened to me.
    That dogs got amazing eyes, I would have liked to have seen the whole tongue and jaw in the shot.

    You haven't said if you actually cropped the shot, or if it's a full frame.
    If it is cropped, it's a little too tight.

    Hope you get to take photos of this dog again,
    those eyes, boy you can't help but gaze into those eyes thumb.gif
