Category thumb size

In this thread he's reporting different size thumbs on his category page. One
thumb is a Ti and all should be Th with five or less.

He is using a script that combines the galleries box and the categories box into one box. Before the script does it's think, there are two thumbs in the galleries box and they are 150x150. There is one thumb in the sub-categories box and it is 100x100. Is it possible that sub-categories never show the larger thumbs, even when only a few of them?
