Is this automatic?

So if I set all the prices for a gallery on every prodcut and print size available, but some of the images in that gallery are not large enough to print a good looking large size print, after I set the prices does the system automatically make certain print sizes unavailable for purchase or will the customer end up ordering a photo/print size that is not ideal for the number of pixles?

In the cart for each product there will be an note under each saying this
product is not big enough to print and not available. Did you look in your cart?
