Is there currently a problem with the 'Simple Uploader'? It kicks me over to a blank SmugMug page and never asks for the Java acknowledgment. Firefox updated a few days ago but I am experiencing this for the first time today.

Thanks

Maybe my question warrants no reply but I have found nothing in the stickies or otherwise. Please, someone let me know if they are having the same problem. I have tried both IE and Firefox. Omar's uploader is working no problem. Is there some reason why the simple uploader is stalling before even getting to the "trust" page? SmugMug guys and gals?

I had this and if you have a custom domain and the java re direct code installed you can end up at a blank page before you get to the simple uploader page.

The way to tell is if you see the login option along the top of the blank page.

It seems you may be logged into smugmug but you may not be logged into the smugmug upload system because you logged in on a custom domain.

The simple solution is to make sure you login on the smugmug website and not through your custom domain.

    Hopefully the above helps..............

Thanks Andy. With some experimenting yesterday I determined it was a Java issue. I had to uninstall my current version and reinstall, reboot. Can't figure why things went awry, in the first place, but it worked.

I will, in the future, write directly to a SmugMug Hero, if needed. I just usually find all the answers here! Thanks again for the help.

I think you were correct that the redirect wasn't working. That's why I had to reinstall Java. I didn't get a chance to try your login option (without the custom domain) before I got it fixed but I will keep that in my memory banks for the future. Thanks for the help!
