Just cleaning off the ol' bookshelf in anticipation of a move and thought some on here might like the following offerings:
1. The Perfect Portfolio by Henrieta Brackman. $10.00.
2. Up to Speed: Photoshop CS2 by Ben Wilmore. $10.00. Published in 2005, so moderately up-to-date.
3. Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Photographers by Martin Evening. $20.00. Published in 2007, so very up-to-date, includes a DVD with movie tutorials.
4. The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers by Martin Evening. $20.00. Published in 2009, so very up-to-date.
5. The Photographer's Sourcebook of Creative Ideas by John Hedgecoe. $15.00. This one was published in 1987 and includes discussion of film and film cameras but also discussions of exposure, apeture, and techniques that are perfectly applicable to DSLR users. Hardback, in good shape.
6. Photography, 5th edition, by Barbara and John Upton. $20.00, which may seem steep given it's publication date (1994), but this is one heavy book. Again, discussions of film and dark room developing may be "outdated" but their discussion of technique is spot-on.
7. Introduction to Digital Photography, 1st edition, by Joseph Ciaglia. $15.00. Published in 2002.
All prices include shipping and Paypal charges. All these books are used but in good to excellent shape (maybe I should have used them a bit more, eh?). If you're interested in any of these books, contact me through this forum.
