I'm still working through the pile of pics that I shot at Laguna this year, but here are a few of my shots from that weekend (MotoGP and AMA)... I'll be posting a new pic everyday on my blog @ www.anvilimage.com for a while.

I was using a Canon 70-200mm L 2.8 IS with a 2.x doubler. I rented the doubler from Borrowlenses.com and next year may see about renting a larger lens with a lower f-stop.

great effort, go longer..
Torags: I'd love to go longer! If I can make it to Indy, I'll rent something longer or wait until next year. I'm going to have to get employed really quickly in order to make that (Indy) happen, though.
ian408: I'll jump on KTM and check it out. I found Eric's personal photo site and sent him a copy.
Thanks again!

As others have said, they look great, even with the 2x. I have tried a 2x on the 70-200 at races. All I have to say is that if you use it, DO NOT take any photos without it. If you compare the shots, (even cropped in post) you will no longer use the 2x.
Your shots look great keep them coming lets see more.
I went to Indy and worked with the TV Crew that did the filming from the heli.... Plus a close friend did the announcing . Looks like I might be going again this year, I fly into Chicago then fly over with a friend in his Heli there... I had some time to snap a few shots my gear was wet during the rain storms there 2008..
Here's a few more that I've put up on my photoblog in the last couple of days...
