When you take 1000 shots in a day, it's a good day. When you take 1000 shots in one hour... It was a fantastic day! :clap
I climbed Mt. MT Eleanor in Washington state this morning and at the summit were eight goats in all, 3 babies and 5 adults. Once I hit the summit I started shooting and just keep going until my 2 gig card was full. The goats did not mind me being there at all and let me get right up to them. I'm still going through my shots but here are some of them.
Wow, what a morning!
#1 Mama and baby
#2 This guy too a liking to my Camera bag with about $3000.00 in Equipment in it. 10 feet away was a 400 foot drop. Not going to happen!!

Great shots Mark. You obviously had a good day. Also you must be like those goats and have a head for heights. As much as I would like to I just couldn't do it. Well done.
Regards
Bob
I only time the height bothered me is when that goat started dragging my camera bag away. Can you believe I had to go smack that thing on the butt to leave it alone?
Mark, those are awesome shots! So, looks like the goat wanted to eat your spare underwear in shot #2, eh? Just kidding...
I particularly like #6 and #8, because they give such good perspective on the height you were at. I enjoy trying to get those "about to fall off the cliff" shots.

Yeah that second shot scared me. He would not have had to drag that bag far to dump it off the rock face. He is chewing on the bottom part of my pants. I have those kind of pants that you can convert into shorts.

Thanks Bud,
It is amazing seeing how agile and confident they are. Even the little ones don't seem to hesitate.
The rest are damn good too.
Thank you Ric.
Hey Bud, if #8 made you nervous just look at this one. He is on the last step before a 800 foot straight drop.

I would have belted him one also, if that were my gear.
I find if you are relaxed and still, alot of the wild life are very curious and do not want to harm you.
I did not say bear or moose...lolol or a few other not petable creatures.
Beautiful images all of them, and a great story.
