Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. Saw this walking through the streets of Paris. It is a chocolate shop. This was set up as a tribute to Apollo 11. The astronauts are walking on a chocolate moon. My it smelled good in there.
I remember watching the launch as a child. I am still amazed that we did this.

I too remember that day, and the words spoken as he stepped on the surface of the moon. I might be aging myself, here, but I also remember the very first manned space flight, and the first un-manned launches. I was rather young, but I've had an interest in the space flights ever since the first one. I try an watch every launch and return on TV when possible. Now with the internet, I can watch replays when I miss the live coverage.
