I take lots of photos of my nephews and I pay for my niece to have her own Smugmug account. With my pc, I was able to sign into her account with her password and upload my nephew's photos directly from my hard drive. I have recently purchased an iMac and use Macdaddy. However I can't use the one application for 2 separate sites....can I??? What is the best way for me to accomplish this on a Mac? Can you install Macdaddy twice? :dunno :scratch :dunno

How about creating separate logins on the same computer? For her account, login to your Mac as her. For your account, login to the Mac as you.

I had not thought of that, I'll give it a try. It just worked so easily on the pc! Can you tell I'm not a computer geek? :D Thanks for the quick response thumb.gif

One of the things I like about the Lightroom --> Smugmug plugin is that I can quickly go between my two Smugmug accounts. (only works if you have Lightroom, of course)

I need to try Lightroom, I'm just having a lot of difficulty adapting to using the iMac in general and am temporarily using iPhoto which I hate. I have an old version of CS, but not sure I want to upgrade to CS4 and I'm feeling intimidated in learning Lightroom. The learning curve on all this stuff gets more challenging as you get older....I'm looking to go simpler these days. rolleyes1.gif

I hear ya. I hated Photoshop - always. Used PSP instead. But Lightroom is a completely different world. The learning curve has been much more reasonable and I'm faster now at processing my photos and getting them online. It really is a joy to use.

Lightroom is a lifesaver with hundreds/thousands of images to edit and upload. Might want to do two things. Download the 30-day Lightroom demo at Adobe.com and signup for a 7-day free trial at lynda.com and view the Lightroom video tutorials.

Yep I use the Smugmug Lightroom Plugin... another lifesaver.

Glad to hear you feel the learning curve is less steep. I have read many posts asking for guidance, I thought LR might be out of my league. Never mastered Photoshop, but knew enough to get by. Would be nice to spend less time processing eventually! Thanks for your comments.

Ah! 7 days free training sounds like what I need!....at least it's a start! Thanks for the info and of course, I would definitely use the Smugmug LR plugin!
