It is well shot and the idea is a good one. The only thing that is off for me is the title because these waters look so peaceful and calm and not troubled, like say, a rushing flood zone would look..
So, because there is still plenty of time, I say put it in your selection of choices, but keep shooting and then you will have several to choose from...
A very pretty shot..

How about considering one of these:
- The River: Bruce Springsteen
- Old Man River: Jerome Kern/Oscar Hammerstein
- River: Joni Mitchell
- The River of Dreams: Bill Joel
- Shenandoah -- and if that, indeed, is the Shenandoah River in your photo, that title is perfect.

Kat, I will try to pull out that corner. Any suggestions, I already messed with the curves a bit until the three layers of shading felt right and sharpened the whole shot by quite a bit to harden it, and of course went to grayscale mode for an aged look. This will be new for me 'cause I usually don't do a lot of post shooting work. Habits of shooting film.:D My software is GIMP, very similar to Photoshop.
