    it would help if you included a bit of who he was.
    Last night, Los Angeles lost a true Angeleno. Photographer Julius Shulman, 98, died last night, according to an LA Times breaking news e-mail alert.

    Shulman was a blunt--yet hilarious--critic of architecture and he showed the works...

    I've seen his work but never really known who he was.

    I just saw his exhibit, or part of the larger exhibit, at the Annenberg Space for Photography. It was great to hear him speak on his work (they have short interview/docus on each photographer in the exhibit.)
