Message in a Bottle by the Police


Took this shot for a different challenge, but then thought it might be appropriate here with this song...?? New at all of this. C&C ???

The idea is great.. Can you re-shoot?

I find the plant life distracting.. It distracts from the main subject which is your bottle. You really need to get the water trailing off in the distance in the shot to some extent. If you can do a re-shoot, then I would get down on your stomach and shoot the bottle from that perspective and make sure the ground underneath it is less distracting. You may even want to consider putting the words S.O.S inside of it like the lyrics...:D

I would get rid of the foam too and also, wait for a sunnier day (time of day) for some exciting light

Maybe a long exposure to give water a silky look would add too...
