    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    hahaha you must have had a rough night if you could only match one shot agains hers with that kind of equipment! or did you leave it in the car in case it got damaged? :D

    Thanks for the comments. Nikon's version 2 VR is really amazing. The image of the waterfall was taken at 72mm, 1/8s, handheld from a boat with the engine idling. The mist was so thick near the base of the fall that the only way to take get far enough away to take the photo was from the boat. And on a boat the tripod is useless. So basically pre-VR, the image as taken was not possible. Ain't technology great :D
