AD rumor: Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS mark II?
hope I'm not late to the party, but I was chatting with my AD the other day, and he mentioned that Canon will soon be releasing a mark II version of their popular 70-200 2.8 IS. Any truth or otherwise?

I wouldn't think it necessary. Except for the lower light goodness of the 2.8 IS, the f/4 is essentially the MkII.
