During my month long road trip, my wife and I had planned on a two night (all night up) stay at a dark sky site to do some deep sky observing and night photography. I always knew there would be the possiblity of rain but I figured, meh, it's the dry season. Well Murphy struck and during our trip in the Southwest it rained. Astronomy out but photography can march on. Here was an image I exposed while at Mayhill, NM. I was sitting there fuming just hitting the remote switch over and over.

I did get a nice time lapse stream of the clouds rolling in/out. If your interested here it is: (**warning it's 5mb in length) "It's OK, I have great bandwidth/am willing to wait"

It's a bit dark but...you get the picture. :D
