    Beautiful comp and great light! The near 50/50 split actually works very well for a shot like this, I think. thumb.gif
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Thanks, it works for me too, particularly when we were moving about 40mph at the time.

    That certainly doesn't look like a 40mph shot to me! Wonderful colors, exposure is spot on.

    Lovely shot! You must have quite a "trigger finger" to have captured that at 40 mph. :D

    I have to agree with Mahesh. The only "right ways" to avoid the even split would be to use a wider angle lens or wait until the sun is lower in the sky. The first of those options probably wouldn't result in as attractive of an image and the latter probably wasn't even a possibility.
