Hi,
Having been a 100% digital photographer for the past 7 years I have recently re-discovered the joys of playing with black & white film and fully manual cameras. However, I want the best of both world and want to scan my negatives. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced scanner (< $500 ) and if not what will I have to pay in order to obtain good results. My little epson dose O.K. but it does not reproduce the tonal quality I get when printing the old fashioned way.. however I do love to be able to manipulate the image in CS4.. not something I can do wet processing.
