One of the families of swan I have been keeping a watch over. Good clutch of 7 Cygnets.

    Good job handling the exposure for the white plumage and like the other have said, great work getting the entire family in the frame!

    Thanks Stephen, White birds are extermely difficult to capture well. There is so little tonal (is that the word?) variation in the white plumage and the plumage reflects the sunlight strongly. It's easy to end up with the whites clipped so severely that any detail is just lost. I was very lucky with the family shot as they were very young birds and the parents kept them together so they could look after them.
