I came across this blog:

http://photographyforartists.wordpress.com/

and thought y'all might enjoy a peek. I didn't find anything on it in a search so I am throwing it at ya. Enjoy.

In case you were wondering how I came across it, I was searching for a camera that doesn't exist... a photographer for the SJ Mercury told me the Canon Mark V was 60MP in response to me telling him I wasn't interested in lugging a DSLR around until they were at least as good as film SLRs (25MP effective right?). So I took a look and the Canon is not even half of 25MP yet.

And yes I found out there is a 60MP camera, the Hasselblad H3DII (OMFG the Google Image search with that camera :wow ), but that's essentially a medium format gig that costs more than my car eh? Here's one from a Chris MacAskill (borrowed w/out permission):

Canon 1d MkIII bodies are pretty darn good as are the Nikon D3 bodies. I'd say your 60MP Hassy is for the fashionista set more than anything.

I don't want the Hassle, but it does take nice pictures. And I won't be lugging a DSLR until they can produce as well as an SLR. Maybe I got this wrong, but I was under the impression that SLRs are the equivalent of 25MP.

Anywho, I thought folks might like a peek at that blog. And thank you very much for correcting my mistake Angelo - I was wondering about that and was thinking of changing it myself.

As a note for that photo you posted from Chris, If you were to zoom in on the clock tower in the middle of the photo not only would you be able to see what time it was you could actually see that there are people watching television in the background and that on that tv is a guy wearing a suit... Seriously....
