Just returned from two weeks in Maui, we stayed in Wailea on the South side of the Island. There are loads of shooting opportunities on the Island so I was a kid in a candy store.

I'll have more photo's next week to share.

    #4 is awesome. Great creativity.
#3, I'm thinking, might look better without the sky and horizon, it's distracting from the wave crashing in the sand.
    Just my $0.02
    Cheers,
    Marc.

My wife and I were in Maui just over a year ago. I thought I got some great shots until I saw yours!

2 and 4 for me, with 4 being a favorite. I would say in #2 that try not to center the sun in the shot so much, and I think maybe you used too strong a grad here, a 2 stop probably would have been better, as I would expect the clouds to be a little lighter. It is always a hard call to make, 3 stop or 2 stop, but maybe shoot 2 shots, one with 2 stops, one with 3, just to see the difference. I find clouds reveal what grad was used the most, unless you misplace the grad line.

I funny, I'll set up for a shoot and I'll be thinking don't center the subject...try and use a power point and bamm! I shoot it center. It has to be from all the years of my point and shoot days.
