No 'hide' function in Journal style

It appears an image cannot be hidden, as in other gallery styles. :huh

I'm reporting this as a bug, presuming it to be an oversight, rather than as a feature request!

It would work nicely to have the Hide option in the Tools/This Photo submenu because you can then pick which photo you want to hide.

I know that if you configure your gallery as SmugMug style, hide the photos there, and then convert back to Journal style that the hidden photos will not show.

Not a perfect solution - but it works.

Dub, I really can't say when we'll get to this. We have the function in SmugMug Style. We don't have it in Journal. I do know we have a giant feature request list a mile long.

I'm not asking for a new feature, just reinstatement of the functionality that was inadvertently dropped in the transfer from the 'old' Journal style to the 'new', and as is provided for most other gallery styles.

It had been some time since I'd checked in on how this was going. They say the impossible can be done at once, but that miracles take a little longer. This must be a miracle in the making!
