Summer on the Farm
It can be a bit intimidating when your vacation location is domestic, and does not include mountains or waterfalls.
These images come from a week spent under the big skies of the Great Plains.

Very nice series - tells the story of life in this part of the country very well for this time of year - harvest, storms, etc. I particularly like #5 - stubble has such a cool color after it's been cut, and #7 - I like the color contrast between the grass, sky and clouds.
Nice work, hope your family had a successful harvest.
The harvest has been slow because of the stormy weather. Nine days with rain in July through last evening. But the yields and quality are good. We've been fortunate to avoid damaging weather like hail.
The green color of the countryside is remarkable. Almost 3" of rain so far in July is more than they receive some full summers. I like #7 very much too!
