My favorite is the tree silouhette against the orange sky. It has a calming, soothing effect on me.
Cheers,
Marc.
Thanks, Marc! I'm surprised you like that shot best as you're the first. Personally, I find that one calming as well...almost has a "Japanese-art" feel to it, IMO.

OK... now I'm officially ashamed to post any more images here Incredible work, Mahesh. Especially when I realize that I probably would have walked right by most of these spots without even recognizing the potential. Incredible work...
Thanks, Dan! You are, of course, way too kind. You have a graet eye for beauty, and I'm sure you would have done this place justice.

These are awesome! Great comps throughout, nice use of a wide angle (and posting XL really makes a difference). Sweet shots of the eagle and tide life too. What a ridiculous amount of sea stacks on that beach. I'm going to have to start backpacking, I'm missing out!
Thanks, Ron! I fine that XL is the "sweet spot" as far as posting size. It is a nice balance between detail and "viewability." You have to go to this place, and yes, start backpacking.

Just getting caught up at work after my three day outing at Toroweap, I see this. :jawdrop
What an amazing place, Mahesh. And you captured it so well. Those first several shots look they were created in a studio. They definitely have an other worldly feel about them. They're all so fantastic. I'm not sure I have a favorite, but #3 is definitely one that keeps grabbing my attention.
I think that Sony/Zeiss setup seems to be working pretty well for you.
I was just tellin my significant other I needed to head out there. You sealed the deal on that one. Before summer is out I will be out there. Great captures. Very inspiring. I felt like I was there but now I need to be there

Thanks, Joel! It was a little pain to lug all that equipment over there, but since the hike wasn't as strenuous as some others I've done, I thought what the heck...let's see how much I can carry. I'm glad I brought everything along, as I probably would have missed the eagle shots if I didn't.

Thanks, Rob! You definitely have to get out there before the summer is out or in the early fall. Be sure to consult the tide charts before you head out there.

Great series, the eagle flying is just jaw dropping clap
Thanks, Al! I was very fortunate with the flying eagle. He/she was actually on the beach and I initially didn't notice. My footsteps may have warned it and he/she few quickly. I barely had time to take the shot...I was quite pleased with the compositoin. I cropped it a bit and straightened the horizon, but not bad for a quick grab.

Thanks, Raymond, for the kind words! Lots of the credit goes to the venue itself and the lighting conditions.

Thanks, Aaron! I'm definitely insane in the membrane (as one of my good buddies use to say) when it comes to nature photography.
