Our adventure started with the best of intentions... in the end, we still got up North and still got to shoot...

Here are some shots I took with an old 300D I modified for IR... I will post more when I get them processed...

Sorry we didn't get to meet everyone, hope you all had a great time at Toroweap!

    Nice series overall! To me, #5 really stands out. That is a spectacular shot, the backlit trees and shadows are awesome. Nice work!

    3 and 6 really stand out for me. Very cool shots!!

    Hey Nelson- that pine is East of the tunnel on the South side of the road. There is a small pull out but otherwise no real marker. deal.gif

    This is actually my first photo post to Dgrin... Newman has been buggin' me forever to start posting here... I finally have caved...

    #4 & #5 are terrific! I also like this last canyon shot you just posted. On this monitor it looks like it needs more detail in the shadows, but overall it's damn good!

    I do like these. Especially 5 & 6. 5 for the explosion of leaves and 6 for the use of negative space.

    Wow guys! Thanks for all the encouraging comments! Glad you liked the shots. We did have an interesting adventure, but I think that was in our cards no matter where we went.

    On some I used the 50mm 1.8, and on the wide aspect ones I used the 10-22mm... Both Canon brand...
