Thank you Danny for inviting me and Aaron for organizing such a great trip. Awesome location and great people what more can you ask.

This is my favorite - caught this while walking from one rim to the other.

    Nice capture Shimon. Good composition. My eye goes from the lower left corner across the image to the tree on the right.

    Very nice! I'm curious to know if you used a polarizer for this shot. The sky seems a bit uneven.

    I have tryed and tryed to get this specific tree in a comp "just right" with no sucess.... you show up and "poof" there it is a great comp.
    I see now the 16mm is the way to go. (I need to follow you around with my note book)

    Thanks, I used a circular polarizer so I don't think it would cause that effect - I think the sky was really like that.

    However, the gradiant in the sky is exactly what happens with a polarizer used on a wide angle lens, circular or not. I take that filter off when including large amounts of sky with any lens wider than 28mm.
