Manley beach, Sydney Australia

We never get colours like that at home. The afternoon light was harsh but I had to have those colours. Now, to crop or not to crop that top bird, that is the question..... And no looking for topless people - I've selected a photo where they're all "sunny side down"...

    Also level the horizon while you're cropping out the top bird. Beautiful blues.

    The horizon running across the centre of the image is a negative (and does not appear to be level - should be straightened). I'd crop out the top part to place the lower of the two gulls near the top of the cropped image, thereby moving the interest to the people. nod.gif

    BTW, I don't recall an "e" in the Manly, Sydney I know. mwink.gif

    Ah I just love that beach... my favorite in AU, I'm a bit biased though as that's where I spent my days as a kid
