I like the sky on this...even if you added it. As for the grader --- looks like there are a bunch of steering wheels to chose from

It is an interesting piece of machinery. Did you take any close up photos?
I think this would be a great pic with just an "interesting" sky. This sky is awesome, but I think it needs a simpler subject. Any chance of seeing the original shot?

Here you go...... I have always wanted to learn how to do composites. This was my 4th one, I think. This is not a pic I would have posted as is.

The steel wheels made me think it was horse drawn too, Gary, but as I looked at it closer, it was built way too heavy to be horse drawn. I suspect it was drawn by a big caterpillar, either diesel or steam powered. But that is just a guess.
I could have spent a full day exploring that subject if it wasn't 114 degrees out. It was cool wasn't it? I agree that the existing background was less than desired, as well.

Hi Jim........I stopped on the way in and didn't take much time with it. I didn't know the area and wanted to get to the campground....... It would make a great subject with plenty of time and good lighting......... Thanks for commenting, azzaro.
