I just loved Hong Kong during my way toooo short visit (Only 1 week). Especially loved the markets, they were loud, colorful, the smell was wonderful (well, not always). Here are some pics (all with the dreb and the kit lense). Hope you like them.

Regards, Phil

This is such a great subject area I can almost smell it. I was there many years ago and you brought back the memory of food smells, both wonderful and alien.

    regards,

I've been to many markets like these in Asia, also in Hong Kong and these photo's make me want to go back there! Is this by any chance in the Sheung Wan area? There's nothing like strolling around with your camera, wondering what some stuff is or used for.. Nice set! thumb.gif

    hi SeeMoon,

don't know exactly how the areas were called (these are pictures form different markets). I usually just walked around, and the good thing in Hong Kong is that there is a new market around every second corner. I just remember that the picture of the fishvendor and the butcher were from Hong Kong Island where the rest ist from kowloon. I WAN'T TO GO BACK :cry

And thanks for the kind comments!
