I've seen the packages thread.
I've seen the discounts/coupons thread.

Here is a list of the things I'd like to see from SmugMug/Bay Photo Lab.
  1. The ability to offer mounted & textured prints from Bay. (my number one priority)
  2. Boutique Packaging!
  3. The ability to offer DVD movies based on uploaded video.
  4. Coupons or Discounts, or more importantly Gift Certificates. Maybe grandma can give a $50 gift when she buys her 8x10, or maybe she buys a $100 gift certificate and receives a complementary 8x10!
  5. I would love to include print credits in my wedding packages!
  6. Print packages would be nice, but not that important to me.
  7. I would like preset time limits and expiration emails for galleries.
  8. Discounts could auto-expire after a preset time limit.
  9. I would like my address book to be per gallery to help manage contacts. I use SM as a business tool, not just a place to display my work. I would like the ability to address messages without an addition to the address book.
  10. We should have the option to offer Bay's proof prints. Maybe as a package?
  11. Did I say Boutique Packaging? Bay calls this "Gift Box Packaging". That's what I want.
  12. Did I say my most desired feature is mounting, texture, & coating?
As I've said before, I'm mostly pleased with SM and I'm confident in the direction we're all heading. I'm looking forward to growing our businesses together.

    Hi, thanks for the awesome list. Some comments:

    1. working on it - requires a big architectural change for us, so it'll be after coupons and packages.

    Gift certificates, as I understand the request, will not be a part of coupons. It has been brought up internally though.
